Welcome to Our site
Pills have been designed and developed to relieve pain or fight an infection from the very roots of our crowning glory, our hair, to temporarily relieve a toothache, or to ease the gouty pain in our big toes. Some pills are so expensive, that it is almost impossible for some people to afford them. Often the situation can be either to buy the medicine or eat; pay the heating bill or get the pills. These are terrible choices an ill person has to make. Yet, there are thousands of people having to make that very choice every day. Thus came about the idea of establishing a Discount Pills Club. With some small, established fee from its members perhaps, medicine can be much more affordable.

Are Drug Companies Profiting From The Sick-Is That Why There Is A Discount Pills Club?

Drug companies have always had a poor reputation for being money-grabbing ogres. No one can deny that some drugs are very, very expensive and that they probably are only a tiny fraction of what they cost to manufacture. We know this to be true because places like the Discount Pills Club are able to sell the pills cheaper to its members. We know this because the same pills, made by the same manufacturer, can be bought in a neighboring country for much less. Drug companies will argue that they have to recover the cost they had spent in research developing medicines. True to a point; they just never mention the government grants they get, which are supposed to pay for much of that research.

In all fairness to the drug companies, however, one would have to believe that they do donate substantially to such organizations as the Discount Pills Club. They do provide free medicines to some indigent patients outside the Discount Pills Club as well in their philanthropic efforts.

The Drawbacks of the Discount Pills Club:

It all depends what is considered a drawback. If the social implications of being seen at a Discount Pills Club present a problem to one's pride then that would probably be a drawback. I personally do not know anyone who would rather pay a hundred dollars versus twenty for the same product, however. Another one of the trade-offs, or draw-backs if you will, may be that instead of name brand drugs mostly generic drugs are offered. Again, this kind of thinking just doesn't hold water. The reason name brand drugs were made is because the pharmaceutical companies could invent names for them that the average person could remember much more easily.

They sounded prettier and become much more expensive, too. Doesn't Nasacort sound easier to pronounce and remember than triamcinolone? Yet, it is the same thing, only much cheaper. So, in summation, there are no real drawbacks with a Discount Pills Club.
